I am currently getting my '77 Blazer into shape, and need to do a r&p up front. I should probably do something with the diff like a locker or a limited slip while it is apart. I want to know if a locker is the way to go or if I should stick with a limited slip? I only do moderate wheeling at most and am running 35" tires.

Ok, I am also on a budget but want to get the front set up nice while its apart. ARB would be sweet but way out of the price range, so I was thinking a medium grade locker or limited slip...decisions decisions...wanted more opinions on the locker up front based on your experiences, hate it or love it?

I would leave the dana 44 open. You will save yourself allot of pain changing out axels in the long run. I have a tracloc in my dana 44. I hav broken about 10 axels/ujoints in about 4 years. I wish i would have left it open.
