Alright so I go the hubs off and the spindle nut, whats next? Is there more anything else? rotor won't slide off yet and I can't tell, though I haven't looked for a long time, nice and rainy today.
Did you remove the caliper? IIRC once you remove the hubs, locknut, lockwasher, wheel bearing adjusting nut and caliper the rotor should slide right off. /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif
hmm I will take another shot at it in the morning. Yeah the calipers are off, first thing I checked /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif /forums/images/graemlins/histerical.gif
Thought there were two nuts inside on the spindle... outer nut, lock washer ring thing, another nut, then the bearings, and then the rotor comes off.... but that's from memory.
The "lock washer ring" that is next to come out has holes all the way around it, and sometimes it can be tricky to get out because of the grease on it and no working room. Maybe try some small needle nose pliers, snap ring pliers, or your fingers if they are small enough...
Aye, #6 is the beastie. Knew somebody'd have a pic /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
I got a dentist-pick looking thing at Kragen, which is invaluable when rooting around for snap rings and such. The hook end also gets that outer ring when you're yanking the locking hubs.
