Dana 44 with \"wallowed\" center pin holes

I have an opportunity to get an axle housing for a Dana 44, which I need. The only drawback is the holes for the centerpin in the spring perches have been wallowed out a bit. Is this a bad thing? Is there a point where a little is too much, or will the U-Bolts hold everything together just fine. I am sure the axle will be held in place just fine, just don't want to get into vibration or anything like that.

LOL, Bubba....

On the D44 the passenger side perch is cast into the housing. /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

Yeah, but I'm sure it won't win any Oscars for it's performance, so why not ditch the thing?
