Looks Like I'm going to need to change out the axle ujoints in my d44 any suggestions of what else I should replace while I'm in there.

Your 6 lug hub assembly/rotor. I know your going to get a 14 bolt sooner or later. I would check seals, bearings, races and hub internals. :thumb:

Only the common sense stuff really. Check your pads and disks as you pull it apart. Check the calipers for sticking pistons and sliding pins.

If you fancy a front locker now is the time to do it. A LockRight will drop straight in there while you've got the axles out. (depending on your gear ratio, you may need to take the carrier out and remove the ring gear to get the shaft out).
If you go that far, do the seals whilst you're in there.
Before you strip the hubs, spin them and listen for rumbling wheel bearings. Replace if nec., otherwise just grease them up when you stick it back together.
And last of all......if in doubt, ask on here! Don't screw something up because you weren't sure how to do it but didn't want to ask!
Good luck.

I have a factory service manual around somewhere I'll try and scan a pic and have you guys mark what you think I should change unless someone has a part number list already.

More info is it has 3.73 hubs are new also. Thanks guys this will be my first axle tear down. But I guess its better to learn in the driveway than on the trail.:D

I have some extra part's in the garage, spindle's, hub assmble etc. If for some reason you need something. It would be free.:cool1:
