dana 44

I think I have a dana 44. The fill hole has a rubber plug with the name "Spicer" on it and the casting number says "44-50f" What is with the "50f"?

It's a 44, and IIRC the 50f means 1/2" thick tubes....

thank you..... thats all I wanted to hear. Now it's time to take out the auto hubs put in some manual hubs, and switch the 6 bolt pattern to an 8 bolt pattern.... oh and throw in some 4.88 gears lol, I can't wait till this thing is running.
