I'm planning on putting a locker in my Dana 44 and I eventually want to do a crossover set up as well. I was wondering if I got a machined knuckle for the passenger side and threw it on while I have the axle apart can I still run my stock steering set up until I have the cash to do the rest? And is there anything else suggested to do while I have it torn down.

I have a machined D44 knuckle with the studs in place and stock push pull steering and no problem. Might as well do all the bearins and seals in the housing and hubs whil its apart if it looks like they may need it or you don't know when they were last replaced.
