Sell it to a jeep owner thenbeater_k20 said:the rear is too narrow to do anything with. its a C&C 14 bolt.
then use the extra cash to find the Dana 70 dually rear to match the front...Very Truekennyw said:Better to run hummer beadlocks with...

Only if it was swapped or someone removed a pickup bed somewhere along the line. The axle on ebay is a 14FF. You can see the backing plates right next to the spring perches.Jonny-K5 said:i thought C+C rear ends are dana 70s. the truck we had was.

full width duallies came with 70s. C&C duallies, and SRW trucks got 14FFs. as for how you can tell that it is a 14FF by the pic, COUNT THE COVER BOLTS. 70 has 10, 14FF has 14. there are definitely 14 cover bolts in that pic. no such animal as a "narrowed 70" in a stock truck. dont believe me? ask Tyler, i just sold him a C&C 14FF...Jonny-K5 said:no , im sure it was stock. pickup duallies are extra wide in the rear, CC trucks have the same track width as the front. i pretty sure that all cab/chassis trucks come with a narrowed 70, and that the pickup duallies had standard length 14b with drw hubs. im sure i've heard before that there are no narrowed 14b duallies, only narrowed 70s.
you can tell those are 14b backing plates? i'm not that familiar with 1T brakes, but maybe they used the same brake components on both dually axles. just a thought

i know the 70 has 10 cover bolts, i guess you have better eyes than i do causs i cant tell the bolt pattern by the pic. and he said he could tell by the backing plates, not diff cover.kennyw said:I said I could tell it was a c/c axle by the location of the backing plates being so close to the spring perches. A wide pickup dually axle would have alot of room between there.

Not always, my '95 C3500 Dually came stock with a full width dually 14BFF rear axle.beater_k20 said:full width duallies came with 70s.
