Dana 60 Carrier ?

currently in my dana 60 is a 4.10 open carrier. I'm going to put in 5.13's and know I need the 4.56 up carrier. I'm also just gonna lincoln lock it. So can I just buy this empty open 4.56 and up carrier carrierhttp://www.drivetrainspecialists.com/categories/dana/dana-60/products/product-629.html

All of the iternals are the same I.E sidegears and spiders. The only difference between the carriers is the ring gear mounting flange location.

ok I just noticed that the link I used above is for 30spline and I need 35 spline which DTS doesn't seem to have. Does anybody have a part number for an empty 4.56 and up non-posi carrier or can point to a place that carries them?

Not 100% but I am pretty sure the side gears are the same size just the inner diameter and spline count is different. I am almost positive the empty carriers can change out between 30 and 35 spline.

but it lists it as a POSI carrier and the rest all say open. would it really be any different?

Just give them a call. I'm sure they can get you what you need.

there is always the ring gear spacer from summit (or wherever) that turns a 4.10 carrier into a 4.56 carrier.

Empty case fits both 30 and 35 spline.
