how close is the drag link to the crossmember when the tires are straight and also turned both ways....mine is an inch away...

I'm not sure, I never measured. The draglink was designed for my first K5 with about 5" of lift. The K5 it's on now has 3" front springs. It's close to the crossmember but it does clear. IIRC when I had it apart I think it was less then an inch.

when the wheels are straight how close is the drag to the xmember...?
2" or so, my truck is stuck about 1 hour away, when i get the chance, ill find out for you.
