OK, i know a guy who has a d60 from an ferd E350 van for a hundred bucks. other than the spring perches is there anything else i need to do to make it fit my blazer? is it even possible?

don't mess with it, get a 14bff and bolt it in.

it depends what year it is, and for that price are you sure thats its a front and not a D60 rear

X2 if we are talking rear axles here. I wa at pick n pull last week in summit IL not to far from you. My brother got a 14-bolt from a van for $87 but that was during their 50% off sale. I know that there is one more van there with a 14-bolt. If you are able to get a 14-bolt from a 3/4 ton truck you won't have to move the perches.

pretty sure that would be a rear, since it's out of a van. not many 4wd vans out there.
