thanks for yalls help with the seals definately gonna get those from mad4wd.now next question does anyone make new brake dust plate and the little round cover that is right behjnd the rotor?mine are rusted and falling apart.

I went with brand new ones I believe from LMC. They were like $70 for a pair and they have held up really well.

Are we talking about the round goodies bolted to the spindle or the huge disc brake covers? My round thingys are in awesome shape, my brake rotor covers are bent up. I'm tossing those, but keeping the round thingys because I think they will help keep crap ot of the hubs. At least I hope they will.

yeah, you want to keep those protectors

i'm talking about the brake caliper cover (3/4 round shape) but more importantly the small round cover that is right behind the rotor.it's about six inches or so in diameter.got pics but some reason the fing computer and camera won't click

Yeah, thats the one you definitely want.

Save this one:

good luck on that one...I couldn't find any, luckily mine were still usable.

I saw some a few days ago, and if I remember correctly they were pretty cheap. Now I'll just have to search everywhere I have been looking for the past few days, so only like a hundred thousand websites...:doah:

thanks alot i've searched and searched and can find everything else but not them.my next move is to call boyce equipment.didn't see them on their site but maybe they have some somewhere.in meantime if you remember or run across them or site again please post or drop pm.thanks again guys

I found the big disk covers easily enough but I had to rehab the small ones myself as I couldn't find them either. I got some POR-15, their repair mesh, and then put a little of the mesh (probably fiberglass) on the rust holes and painted it with POR-15. They have lasted pretty good since then.

FYI, for anyone looking for these (I looked all over and couldn't find them, the hub protectors, not the brake dust shields) I called Boyce and they had them, brand new GM or even used (probably depending on availability). The GM part number is 14009611 when they arrived. I can't find it anywhere else but that is what it says. They had them in stock for same day shipping when I called. They fit perfect, brand new plated steel. If you are looking for them just call them up.
