That axle in the pictures above is a $400-500 at best, a $1000 axle is a bolt in and go, that thing needs some work before it is road worthy.

-broken breather, who knows how long, water may have made its way inside.

The kingpins are fine and the axle ujoints were replaced at some point.
No water inside.
