I'm working on my dana 60 right now and ran into a problem. after I yank the hubs and get it down to the locknut, I cannot fit my locknut remover over the locknut. The manual says it is the correct size locknut remover, however there is a ring behind the locknut that will not allow me to slip to remover over. Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong here?

Bend the tabs back on the ring so you can get your socket on. It is setup similar to a 14FF hub.
