how do i get the knuckles off my d60 over these "pins"

you have to diassemble the outers, pull the axle shafts, and then the knuckle basically falls off. the axle shaft is keeping everything from moving up far enough to get over the king pin.

+ the lower kin pin plate will need to be removed to create enough "slack" for it to clear the upper kin pin.

i already removed the lower plate. can that upper kingpin be removed to slide out the whole unit?

With the lower plate removed the knuckle should tilt out on the bottom allowing you to lift it over the upper king pin.

The upper pin can be unscrewed but it's somewhere around 600ftlbs.
