My hubs are 1/4 turn and have MM(mile marker?). When i engage them they do nothing and have a terrible metal on metal churning sound. I've never got into hubs before and need some help. I used the search and it looks like only dana 44's come up. I'm looking a Warn hubs for the replacement, but is there anything better. Thanks

Hey 53,

Check out my post: Manny's '83 K10. You have a step by step, photo pic of taking a D60 apart from the beginning. Shows everything you need to see. Warn Premium Hubs are the bo-shnizzle. There is nothing better! If you got to go, go Warn!

The milemarkers on mine could be assembled in the wrong possition. When I got the axle this was the case. When assembled wrong once you engage them the would only turn 1/4 turn when you tried to dissengage them and would pop in and out. Pull the outer portion of the hub off and make sure that is not what's going on with yours.
