I went to buy new hub seals becasue im collecting parts for my 60 rebuild, well i asked the parts store for hub seals and i got Timken # 415960 which on the dana 60 bible calls then inner axle seal and does not show them on any of the digrams, what are these seals for i know there not the ones that go near the carrier because i already have thoese. The seal is about 3.75 OD and 2.75 ID. I have looked all over and can not figure this out.

That part number is the hub seal or more commonly reffered to as the wheel seal. It goes on the back side of the bearing hub and seals against the spindle.
