got some hubs for a 79 ford off ebay to convert to single wheel and they don't fit the rotor what gives some one said they were all the same can i have the machine shop mill down the lip thats hitting or should i sell them /forums/images/graemlins/angryfire.gif

chevy & ford hubs are not the same. iwould sell them & buy some chevy ones. chevy ones are probably cheaper anyway

dodge & chevy ones are the same so keep that in mind

The overall length of the hub should be too short as well.

If you have a Chevy/Dodge D60, just cut your losses and get rid of the Ford hubs. The Ford outters are completely different (knuckles, caliper bracket, spindle and hub)

Are you talking about locking hubs or wheel bearing hubs? /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

Uh...........ford hubs will not work on chevy spindles and vice versa. Dodge hubs will work on chevy spindles, but there are differences in the center hub diameter, and in the lug diameters. I got 2 pairs of hubs in my garage (chevy), along with 4 D60's (chevy) complete under vehicles. I have looked real close at ford hubs before - up close and personal. (I don't have any D60 stuff for sale - well actually the K5 is for sale)

I am sorry for the confusion.
I was talking about the locking hubs.

I hope you can sell them and retrieve your loss.
