DANA 60 INSTALL HELP!

My Dana 60 in the rear of my truck is suffering from a bent spindle. I think I found a guy who has a housing I can use from aroung the same year. Can I just switch out the carrier, ring and pinion? If so do I need to reset the back lash? The Dana 60 is an oldie, 16 spline 4:56 gears, lincoln locker. Thanks for the help.

You will have to re-setup the gears just like you were putting new gears in it...every housing is a little different and may require just a little more or a little less shim to get everything in the right spot
