I'm about to put my Dana 60 knuckles back in. The Yukon kit came with Gaskets for the top and bottom surfaces. USE them or just use RTV??

I used gaskets, no issues.

as many i have been inside of top only gets gasket from factory .
I've always used RTV. There's not much else on a front Dana 60 that's sealed all that well anyway, I think RTV works better and technically puts a little more preload on the spring.
Also, bolt patterns are different top/bottom and I bet they gave you double top gaskets. Probably some nuts/washers that have no place either. Yukon

I went NO Gaskets on the top covers...
Gaskets with copper spray gasket on both sides
I went NO Gaskets...we will see how it goes.
Im old and dont get it....explaination pretty please...watch out for the bus load of church nuns ...... @ZombieK5
you didnt do the job 100% correct with missing gaskets ..... your going to loose control and crash in to a bus load of church nuns ......
