Dana 60 limited slip rebuild..please help!!!

I'm going thru a d60 front for a buddy of mine. We have decided to rebuild the factory limited slip (dana), I have a rebuild kit from Reiter Racing, now...
how do you get the spiders in the carrier? It seems the clutches won't allow me to turn the spiders enough to install the small spiders into the carrier.

Does anyone have any experiance with rebuilding these units?

Easiest way is to get some large washers, nut and long bolt that will go through the splines of the side gears and compress the bellvelle plates which will allow enough clearance to position the small spiders and thrust washers .
Make sure that you install the thrust washers at the same time !


Note : Do one side at a time and the oposite side should be able to turn with ease.
