Any thoughts on the dana 60 lockright locker for a rig running 40's? The rig sees mild street time and some hard wheeling. Thanks, rig specs are in my sig.

nothing else to add...40 Pitbull rockers.. stock motor/tranny/tcase in a k5, not a very heavy right foot.. but working great for a few years!

6 years so far 39.5 Iroks ,468BBC ,SM465/NP205 ,HEAVY right foot.
Have broken a few front stubs , blown up a few manual locking hubs (now I run slugs when wheeling) but the lock right has never given me anything but traction to both front wheels , still using the original pins & springs too
Oh & I bought it used , best $100 I have spent in a long time.

wow, the opinions here are not what I expected....I would have thought the opposite....:dunno:

still learning, I suppose...:D

I have been told that that is the ONLY Lock-Rite that's worth owning.....
Havent hurt mine yet - 38s built 383, 465, 205, LEAD right foot and feather weight left.......

thanks guys ordered one up today... anybody near Annapolis, Md want to trade some beer to help me install this bad boy :D

Same for me. I have one in my K30, 454, stick, LoMax 205, and it has done Dusy, Rubicon, you name it. I have broken 35 spline outers, and never had issues with the lockrite. I was initially so worried, I bought a spare and carry it in the truck.... Now I feel like a retard, because I doubt I'll break it.
