Dana 60 passenger side drop low pinion.......a factory 1 ton axle,
detroit truetrac, bad ass
456 r&p, ring and pinion, better make sure your put 4.56 gears in the rear end
fresh upper and lower spicer kingpins, nice
sky manuf high steer arm its ready for crossover steering and you need a 2wd stwwering box
with manual lockouts, OK, they all had them
What does all this mean? its a damn good start to making a chevy stronger
Will it work under my k5??? yes
Thanks, no prob

I am only going to usissue k5 in the mud if anything is there any pros or cons to a high opinion versus low opinion Dana 60

It could be a Dodge version which would require some tweaking to make work.

The Truetrac is a good limited slip, but it is a limited slip. Wouldn't really consider it badass especially for hardcore off-road use.

Whether or not the 4.56 gears are good simply depends on if they are the gears you need or want.

The high steer arm, assuming the passenger side, means it's ready for cross-over steering. Most people consider this a good thing, but doesn't mean much unless you plan on going to cross-over steering.
