i saw another pic with the axle in the background and it had the selectro hubs...it also had a dana 60 rear in the truck...i think its a 60

If it is a 70, unless its free, stay away from it. Lack of parts available, and they are not as strong as a 60.

i just talked to the guy on the phone its a 70 w/ drum brakes...what a bummer i thought i had found a piece of gold...

yeah and they are closed knuckle and have 18 spline outer...i think...

It's from a Dodge and probably has Tracta Joints some had 1480 u-joints and were 1.50 35 spline inners and 21 spline 1.375 outers. Which makes them just a little stronger than a stock 60. Closed knuckle front ends won't turn quite as sharp as an open knuckle and the tie rod went under the pinion behind the axle. They also came with drum brakes which really kills their value.
