dana 60 prices

Rear? $200.00 or so. It's the fronts that are spendy (usually, although deals can always be found if you're patient and lucky).

Right Rene. I found mine for 500$ in a junk yard wrecker, but ended up rebuilding the whole thing, with a lockright, switching the hubs to SRW from DRW, and all new parts except the axle shafts, and gears....had to have a kingpin repair done also. I got 2600 in it now....just saying they get expensive if they need work.

Rear D60's are cheap because they're common and they're not really too stout anyway.

Front D60's are the strong ones and they are much more rare, hence the steep price.

I have rear dana 60 for sale for a grand.. hell for that price ill throw a front in with it:D

i have a friend that has one he is gettin rid of and he needs money so id figured id buy it from him and help him out a bit

Rebuilt? Different gears? Disc brakes?

I wouldn't pay $200 for an old rear D60 from a junkyard, and being welded doesn't add anything to the value IMO. I run a welded rear diff in my trailrig and recommend it to people, but if I didn't know who did the welding I might even pay less for it.
