Dana 60 Q

What would I expect to pay for a front Dana 60 with 4.56 gears? I have a line on this set up and am wondering what the going rate is.

Any D60 around that gear goes for around 1000.00 give or take a few hundred dollars /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Is it from a running truck or has it been sitting? D60's usually are in the $900-1500 range depending on condition, gears, etc. It could cost more if it already has locker, gears, etc.

Gave $800 for mine with open 4:10's and bad rotors, but I got about 35 pounds of rust for free in the deal...

I paid $800 shipped to my door for a D60 w/ 4.56's but it was a dually and I had to buy the spendy-azz SRW hubs...

In So. Calif. they usually sell as a set w/ 14BFFD. The front 60 may be open or lim.slip if from a Marine K30. Sets usually $1700. Hard to find though. Expect to rebuild them. Good luck.

The D60 came out of a dually. Hubs have aready been replaced. It is coming with a 14bolt with discs and detroit. Both axles are rebuilt or getting rebuilt. D60 is 1500.00 Don't have the total on the 14 bolt yet. Can't wait to get them in the rig. My 12 bolt is bent and in bad need of getting replaced. What would a 14 bolt setup like this run me?

I saw a 14bff with discs and detroit here locally a while ago and the guy sold it for $750...
