I am about to put my 60 in my k5, its a stock k5 350/700R/208, so its a stock front driveshaft, do i need a napa ujoint part number 447 like the rear?

nope. u-joint is the same for all front axles unless a previous owner swapped yokes.

bolt it in and go wheeling.

Nope should bolt right up. Gm used the 1310 on the front 60s for some stupid reason,,,,,

What is it replacing? the driveshaft may need to be shortened....

oh hm well its a dana 44 right now., and a stock 10bolt before hand.

The pinion snout it longer on a dana 60 compared to a 44 (requiring a slightly shorter driveshaft), but its likely that he has some kind of lift on this truck (requiring a longer driveshaft).

Its good to check but if the driveshaft worked when it was stock and it worked when the truck was lifted, it will probably still work.

Yeah my truck has a 6 3/4" front lift (homemade zero rate) and the shaft has always worked its a lil extended right now (some splines showing) so we'll see!

Its a Chevy D60 correct. If I remember right Dodge D60's have a different pinion ujoint then Chevy.
