Dana 60 Questions

Guys, does anyone know if the ring/pinion and or carrier from a D60 (spilt shaft axle crap) found under the front of a 1995 Ram2500 Diesel will fit in the D60 found under a 1985 SRW K3500. I swapped a Cummins and want to retain the 3.54 gears because that where the motor wants to be. I figured I am going to junk the Dodge Dana 60 because nobody wants to swap them. Then I thought, hey, might save me $500 on the R&P kit? I am fairly sure they are both standard rotation. I know the Dodge has smaller shafts but I would use the GM spiders.

as long as it is a dana 60 everything in the diff is the same it should swap right in

Thanks Chris. It has 60F stamped on it so I would say it's safe to bet it is a 60.
