I picked up a free D60-FF rear today. It has 3:73's, and I can just buy a 14B for less than the cost of re-gearing it. So, my question: How much should I expect to get for it if I sell it? I know a lot of Jeep guys like 'em. I just don't know what to ask for it. /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif /forums/images/graemlins/1zhelp.gif

It looks to be in good shape... just the usual dirty housing from sitting. It's been in a garage/storage so it's not real bad.

Thanks in advance for any help or opinions..

well whatever you expect to pay for a 14 bolt is probably around the spot. Depending on axleshafts I guess. There is such a thing as rear 60s with really low spline count(aka weak) shafts. Pull them and check them out. 30 or 32(still not sure if there is a factory 32 spline rear) will be worth the most.

I pd #150 for my 4.56 geared Power Locked rear D 60. It depends on your market and what people want. On here with all the hub bub about 14 bolts it seems as if that D 60 is crap, when in reality it is not.

2-$300 should be a fair price, and remember to market it to drag racers and such too.

A Dana rear axle gives you more gearing options, while having more expensive lockers. What gears are you looking for? I have two sets of 4.10's that could be had very reasonable /forums/images/graemlins/whistling.gif /forums/images/graemlins/whistling.gif

I would say that 35 spline would probably be worth the most. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Thanks for the input guys.

Thanks a bunch /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

I think that's just how low the carrier will go, not the ratio, - up 4.56's. It says 3.73 on the tag.

Twice- yeah, this firestation's computer mouse is easy to "double tap" ... /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif
