i am swapping out my brothers rear end for a 1967 gmc dana 60 with 4.56 gears tomorrow, we have already relocated the spring perches and the shock mounts but my question is the u-joint, im not sure what is in there now, but his old rear end is a 77' 14bolt with 4.10s i know it is a down grade but he is going to re-gear the 14bolt when he gets some money to spare.....anyone have a part number or any helpful info?

It's going to be either a 1350 or 1410 u-joint. Measure across the the yoke on each axle. If they are the same, yours should bolt up.

What drive shaft are you using on the rig? Stock 3/4 ton? Or a 1/2 ton w/ a conversion joint?

stock 3/4 ton.....i didnt have a measuring tape in the shop so i was hoping someone could help me out....im heading to napa now to see what i can find...

The Neapco catalog says 1310 for 3spd trans (auto or stick) and 1350 for 4spd trans.

(Assuming '67 GM 3/4-ton 2wd pickup).
