did chevy ever use dana 60 rear axles? i thought they used there own then eaton or sterling back in the day. can someone enlighten me please? thanks

They used full-floating Dana 60s in some '67 - '72 3/4 tons. Some trucks got 60s and some got HO52s ("Eatons"). They also used some semi-floating Dana 60s in '68 - '72 half tons with big blocks. All of these axles used 30 spline shafts.
