I am looking for a set of factory slugs with covers and I have looked everywhere even on here. Are they really that hard to come by or am I looking in the wrong places? Are these things still available from the factory or what?

Help me replace my hubs with 30 spline drive slugs:D

Thanks

Ira

Exactly:D I am looking for 30 spline as I have not broken a stock stub yet. And when I do I will have the 30 spline slugs broached to accept 35 spline outers.

I've seen a few on eBay quite a bit.

I always type in "dana 60" and let it go from there. Be warned to find around 6 or 7 pages of stuff to look thru.
And yes, must be a dry spell as its rare not to see the slugs up on eBay some times.

One of the vendors either here or on Pirate has them. I have seen them before because I almost ordered a set. Figured I would wait untill I do 35 spline though.

They have the slugs with the press on caps? Was it Highonda on Pirate? I am not a member there so I cannot send PMs and I would just as soon not get ass raped for not falling in line with not going 35 spline Chromos :)

I think Ouverson Engineering makes some bad ass slugs/covers.

I believe Spicer still makes the factory stuff. Talked with Randy's R&P when going to 35-spline stubs and they offered all of the factory style press on caps, snap rings, slugs, etc.... of course I talked to them about the D70 35-spline slugs but assume they had the 30-spline stuff also. The caps were relatively cheap.
