Havent done this in so long forgot the torque specs. and procedure in tightening the spindle locknuts is it 50lbs and half turn back and torque second one at 75lbs. need to move truck and forgot how to do this thanks:D

im not sure on the specs. but dont u torque it down to a higher number, back off and then torque it to a lower number? i could be wrong though...

Torque the inner nut to 50ft/lbs while spinning the hub, loosen the nut tighten to 35ft/lbs while spinning the hub. Then back of a little bit and take the nut tight until there is no slop in the bearing. I usually just rotate the hub till it feels right then find the nearest pin for the lock washer to seat in. You might have to tighten or loosen the inner nut to make it line up.

If you just need to move the truck and then will take everything back apart agian for some reason just put the outer nut on nice and tight. If you are doing this for the final time torque the outer nut to at least 150ft/lbs.

I have never used a torque wrench on any spindle nuts on any of my vehicles.

Now that I think about it... I am trying to remember the last time I used a torque wrench.
