I had the Dana 60 sitting on jack stands without hub/rotor and axles, just the spindles, approximately 18 inches high. I accidently knocked it over causing the passenger side spindle to hit the concreate floor of the garage.

today I installed the wheel hub on the driver side without any problems, the passenger side would not go on all the way. The distance between the rotor and caliper bracket is 1/4 inch from the driver side versus the passenger side.

Could I have bent the spindle when it fell?

I doubt you bent the spindle unless it was installed in the truck with all that weight.

My bet is the inner bearing is cocked slightly and binding. I’d pull the hub assembly back off and attempt to reinstall it, maybe lube the spindle if it’s dry.

Ok, I will do that tomorrow and add pictures.
I felt that with trucks and 40 plus size tires, how could that fall have bent the spindle? I run 33-inch tires. thank you so much for your reply, I'll do it tomorrow & take pictures.
