Hey guys, so I decided to lower my k5 blazer, so I tore my truck apart to take the homemade ez inch spring out and a single spring to drop it down lower. Well I take the springs off and find this. First off I am glad I took it apart because the center bolt was shot. I also found that the spring perch was cupped.

So I leveled it out with a small piece of metal in the middle, welded it in, plated the sides/front/back and made it to the same height as the existing sides of the spring perch. I also put a mini level on the pumpkin side perch and measured down to the tube, both sides were the same once I finished, so i popped it all back together and discovered that the driver side is 2" taller than the other side. ??? So my question to you guys, are the measurements supposed to be the same?? It was late so I didn't get a chance to take measurements of the frame to check if that was bent, but before this it sat level.

Any idea on the measurements for those perches?
