Hi,
I am about to swap my old dana 44 for a dana 60. I this a hard swp to do? Is there anything in particular I should know before i do this? Any help tips or links would be awsome. Thanks a lot.

The brakes lines have to be replaced and you will need new banjo bolts as well. New u-bolts (3), make sure your 60 has the studs for the spring plate on the passenger side. You will also need spring plates. That's all I can think of, its pretty much bolt in after that!

depends on what the axle came from and what its going into. Later Blazers(78+) should have 10mm banjo bolts so 95% of the D60 calipers bolt right up. But if you get a 77 D60 like i did, it'll have 7/16" banjo bolts like the earlier blazers, and be bolt it for 73-77.

dont forget steering! its best to go ahead and piece together a crossover setup
