Picked up a 1 ton chevy today that was wrecked in the front. Wanting to put the D 60 in to my K5 but the tie rod is bent a little. My budget isnt ready for a cross over yet and I dont want to put to much into a new tie rod.

Any ideas? Was thinking of getting it close to straight and than putting a sleave to strenghten it up until I can get a cross over.

What do yo all think?

Well, the tie rod has nothing to do with crossover unless you're wanting to go hi-steer then the tie rod would be shorter than a standard tie rod.

Yup. After I got it all preasured washed I could see it better. I m going to put into a press and than sleeve till I can save up some coin to do the high steer cross over.
