<font color="green"> I just measured this last night, IIRC the tube is 4.25" from the bottom of the tube to the top of the spring pad. Add the thickness of the leaf pack and the spring plate to that, add a couple of inches to make sure you can get them on and have the u-bolt go all the way through the nut, and you should be good. </font color>
