How much strength difference is between a Dana 60 and a 14BFF? Thanks.

Dana 60 vs. 14BFF???

I asumme you are talking about a rear 60. there is a big difference, like one, some 60's are SF's and all 60's only have a 9&3/4 ring gear compared to the 14's 10.50. The axle tubes and axles are bigger on a 14FF. The only benifet of a rear 60 is there is more aftermarket lockers available and lower than 5.13's can be installed. As far as strength, 14FF!

There is a significant difference between a D60 and a 14 bolt full floater, the 14 bolt being quite a bit stronger. A 14 bolt FF is comparable to a Dana 70, where the 14 bolt semi floater would be similar to a rear Dana 60 in size.
