Would a chevy Dana 60 rear end bolt up to my 1990 K5 Blazer? is 150 a good price? It has 4.10s and is open

It won't bolt into your blazer. last year (far as I know) chevy put a 60 in the rear of anything was 72 and actually that was GMC only. A 14 bolt is the only way to go. Cheap and bulletproof, plus if it's out of a K20 it'll bolt right in your blazer with zero mods. Even the shock mounts will be the same. $150-175 is as much as I'd pay for a 14 bolt. Some people think they're worth more but they're dreamin. There are literally hundreds of them rotting in junkyards right now, and all of them except the one you pull will go to the crusher.

$150 is about right but it won't bolt up and the shafts are the same size as your 10 bolt shafts.

You should be able to find a 4.10 geared 14 bolt for about the same money and it will be WAY stronger.

But what if i am planning on only running 35s? would a 14 bolt be over kill? would i lose a lot of ground clearance?

you lose a fair amount compared to 10 and 12 bolts but you can gain a fair amount back by shaving it
