dana 60

i was reading four wheeler or petersons anyway. they had the axel guide and i noticed they had a pic of a front dana 60 with the chunk on the drivers side. do yall swap your transfer over or can you change the axel tubes around?

Are you sure it wasn't a ford D60 front? Fords have a driver side frount output.

furd D60s have the pumpkin on the "wrong" side compared to dodge/chevy models. Its entirely possible to use a furd d60 in a chevy... you'd just need to get your t-case on the other side. Not sure to many other mods would be necessary. *shrug* I dunno for sure tho...

A lot of guys with 88-up chevys use a Ford D60 because the tcase output is on the other side on those.
You can use a Ford NP205 with a Ford D60 in your Chevy and it will work fine.
