I posted this in the regional forum, but not much action there. I'm gonna be picking up two 4wd crew cabs in a few weeks. One is an 85 or 86, not sure which. SRW, 4.10 open front, lockouts, overall looks OK. 100% complete, still in the truck. $750, can throw the 14b rear in for $100. Next is a 90 4wd dually, 3.73s lockouts, also 100% complete. Dana 70HD rear, possibly a P/L, I have to look at the RPO codes again. I think it needs new u-joints cause there are new ones sitting on the dash. $750, plus a $100 for the rear. I can ship these, just didn't really want to mess with it, so I thought I would give the local guys a shot.

Hmm... would H1 rims fit on the dually axles you have without recentering them?
How does the D70HD compare to 14BFF? I'm going to be throwing ALOT of power & torque at it and don't wanna snap anything.
What do you think shipping would be to 33647?

I never checked, but I think the hummers will fit without any mods. I had access to a set of hummers, but I don't even have the truck here yet to test it. Hopefully someone else will chime in. As for the rear goes, heard different stories about which is stronger. the only thing that I do know is you can go alot steaper on gears in a 70 over the 14ff. I'm shipping another 60 front to Jupitor Fla, that is costing $350, so both axles will be a little more, but not quite double.

yeah i did some looking around at gear availability for the 70 and i found some up over 7:1 
Hopefully someone will chime in on the hummer wheels. I really want to run a set. not entirely sure why but the idea is really cool.
I'd have to relocate the spring perches & shock mounts wouldn't I? Do both axles include the u bolts and plates and all that?
I got some $$ coming in hopefully early next week. If I can confirm wheels will fit and inclusion of ubolts and such I'll see if we can't make a deal.
