Dana 61 rear axle 3.XX gears, ford 8lug, full floater.... going to scrap

drum brakes look like they have dropped they are cracked, probley would handle a weld on disk setup. I picked up the axle a couple weeks ago and I'm not going to use it since I shaved my 14bolt. Its like 66" WMS, 8lug ford 1ton full floater... come pick it up you can have it! Going to scrap with some burnt up torched truck parts Friday unless someone says they are coming for it. You arrange shipping and throw a couple bucks my way and I'll create it up.

Do you know how many splines on the axle shafts?

I could pull one out tomorrow and check it. its just like a 14bolt axle shaft.

If I am not mistaken, they made a 61HD or all 61's were HD and possibly have 35 spine shafts! Plus you can use D60 gears in this with a ring gear spacer....(so I have read)....

sorry they are 30 spline... /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif
I took a paint pen an marked every 5th one, I counted a couple times still came up with 30 each time. They are smaller and not near as heavy as a 14bolt shaft.
