ok guys... i got a dana 70 dually. i need to convert it to disk and single rear wheel... what will i need to do both of these... i also need to be able to clear the 15 inch rims...so can i just run a 3/4 ton 15 inch 8 lug rotor.... and order the brackets from a somewhere for the calipers?

I am going to assume you have a D70HD. So every thing in this post applies to that axle.

When you say convert it to srw, do you want to change the width of it?

You can bolt a single wheel onto it as is.

You can put a 14 bolt SRW hub on it, w/ no mods but it will widen the axle by several inches, & you will not be able to retain the drums.

I bought weld on disc brake calipers from http://www.aa-mfg.com/ . They are $7.00 ea. I used the regular 14 bolt swap stuff after that. 3/4 ton frt rotors & calipers. You will need to grind o these calipers to get them to clean a 15" wheel if they have a lot of backspacing.

I'm running the stock-width Dana 70HD with 12-bolt H1 wheels and RuffStuff Specialties bolt-on caliper brackets.

Here are some pictures.... and yes, I really painted them purple. :D
