These came off a 1995 Ford F-SuperDuty (F450) (16,000 GVW) truck converted to 4x4. Both axles are disk brake. The Dana 70 front ends can be found on some Chevrolet and Ram 3500 trucks, but I believe the Ford units have larger spindles and bearings. Massive brakes and hubs.

I have the drive shafts, hydro-boost, and proportioning valve from the truck.

The Front axle is a driver's side drop and I also have a 32-spline range box and a ford NP205 if you want to double-down. I can add a Chevy NV4500 4x4 in Barter.

These diffs are in NW Montana, where I hauled them from Idaho and yes, they are very heavy. Can throw in 6 (ea.) 16"x6" dually wheels and I have a good source for manufacturing super single wheels to your bolt pattern.

Some assistance on delivery may be available on buyer's dime.

Asking $4,500 for the axle pair. This is a limited time offer.

Trade Items- May consider a set of Dana60/14bolt axles on partial trade. Possibly a set of Jeep Rubicon axles, or a Chevy K20.

i never understood ford doing a 15k gvw truck on 16" tires . gm did the 19.5 and guys take the gm wheels and bore the center out a hair and then they bolt right up on the ford . but gm ran BIG brakes and 16" wont fit them from a ford truck .

The ratio is 5.13 I am adding pics of the donor vehicle. Very interesting history on these early Ford F-SuperDuty trucks and their rated capacities. Quigley conversions did some 4x4 Chevy vans with these axles. If they don't sell, everything is going into my 1968 C50. At 67, I may be too old to care much either way.

The wheels are an obsolete Budd pattern. Standard aftermarket support 16x6 wide or 19.5x6.5 wide. There is a trend of converting larger trucks into overlanding vehicles utilizing military hardware. A lot of these big rigs are converting from dually to a Super Single wheel set up. A good source is Boyce equipment:

If you were on east coast I’d have more to consider. Have a 60/70hd i’d throw in.

Cool set of axles, glws

These front are built just for the rord superduty and gm c3500hd trucks . Diffrent width and spring spacing . Special hubs or adapters for 8lug to the 10lug . In the gm the 80 rear was 37 spline only for them . All the dodge 80 rears are 35 spline .

I’m pretty sure the early Ford OBS S/D 10-lug D80’s used the 37-spline axles as well - they are healthy look’n compared to the basic 35-splined versions.

First few years of the F-Superduty Dana 80 10 on 7.25” was 35 spline. They switched to 37 spline in the later models. Early 35 spline ones had a smaller spindle and are too small to swap out to 37 spline. This one being a 95 model is most likely 37 spline.

If you want to adapt these axles into most vehicle, you pretty much need to get custom wheels. I did a lot of research until I landed on a shop that will build a 20" rim in a 10" width, to your lug pattern for $325/ea. The tallest tire for a 6" wide rim is probably a 255/85r16, at around 34" high.

BTW- This is a For Sale forum, not a technical forum. Plenty of those on this site if you want to take up axle specifics there. Thanks
