New old stock Dana 70 center sections with caps, these have never had tubes pressed in them.$75 and the ride.

Do you have the carrier from that axle? Im looking for a 4.56-up carrier from a 70 HD. Do you know if this is the 70 HD?

I prefer a open carrier, I think...whats a power lock? Is it like a eaton? I am interested in either one really, I have my gears and install kit, all I need to get the gears in is a carrier.

Ok, its a limited slip right? That would be cool too, this is for my tow rig. Limited slip or open would be fine, I just would like to regear my truck before I burn up that trans. :D

Yes, it's a limited slip, but the strongest and best of them. This one is rebuilt with new clutches and spiders, four series carrier(4.56 and up) so you don't need thick gears. $300 shipped
Thanks, Jimbo

Can you confirm that this is for the 70 HD? I know there are differnt pinion offsets, I just want to make sure this will work in my axle.

The centersections these came out of have a "B" stamped on them. The pinions are 29 spline with a part # of 40960.The ring gear # is 34812 and also has this # B8AE23 tooth count is 41-7 and was produced 11-20-84 and the offset is .625.The powerlok's were sold first thing and I dont have anymore 70 carriers right now.

:doah: It's like a for sale ad within a for sale ad. :shame:
