I have a 1975 Dana 70-B . Looking for a locker. All I am seeing are the Powertrax lockright and the Detroit. Do lockers from other models interchange? Or are these two my only options?

As long as what you have is a 5/8 offset then yeah your typical non HD cases will fit.
I am leaning towards the lockright, but looking at it yesterday, it appears i will still have to pull the carrier and get the ring gear off in order to get the center pin out. Is that correct?
That depends on the ratio and how tall the teeth are. I dont know for certain if you can slide the cross pin out on which ratios.
okay, it is a factory 4.88. If i pull the carrier out and take off the ring gear, I should be able to reinstall everything without having to readjust anything right? I dont have the tools to reset backlash.
Correct. Keep each race where it came from. Mark the case and ring so you can put the ring gear back where it was. Clean clean clean. Put thread locker on the bolts and torque em. Dont just hit em with the impact.
