May have aquired a Dana 300. Idk for sure, no pictures on hand. It was at my bosses house last weekend hooked to a manual tranny he thought was out of an old Jeep. Looks OLD!! I beleive it has a passenger side drop. Worth messing with or just clean up and sell? will get pics tomorrow hopefully.

300 is worth stuff but it could also be a Dana 20 if its from a bronco you could sell it to a restorer or someone who wants an extra, scout ones only fit scouts, and jeep ones maybe the same thing as the bronco.

could be a chevy one too post up pics when you get em

Will do man. I saw dana and 300 was first that came to mind. And I looked up the pass drop and saw that they came with 300s with that. Ill snap some shots tommorow. prolly not but would be cool. I saw that a 300 will also bolt to some chevy trannys... idk if thats correct but some website i checked said it would. But if some enthusiast is willing to pay some cash for whatever it is that would be cool. I figured that since it looked real old it may be a hard to come by one. Also my boss was pretty sure it was from his buddies old jeep back in the day. He also gave me the tranny it is on and a 2wd th350.
 
Not a bad case. My buddy has one mated to his sm420 in his scout. He beats on it hard with no issues
 
Cool. Just wanna figure out what to do with it. Ill let you know what it is for sure though tomorrow, prolly some crappy other one with my luck lol.

So whats this thing worth cleaned up and gone over? To a jeep enthusiast or something.

Me and my friend wanna clean it up and sell it and get some money for our tool fund.
 
They make so many mods for a 300 you could easily put 1500 bucks into a 300, gears, flip kits, flat tow kits, billet outputs, all sorts of stuff.

I would say its probably worth a couple hundred Adam.

I know guys that have bought 300s for that much, but I would check around it may be worth alot more. There is a guy here from the east coast that paid 500 bucks for his 300 and it needed completely gone through.

Around here its worth a couple hundred though
 
Its a Jeep Dana 20. Dana 300s have a different aluminum shifter boss, the Jeep 300 cases have a round pattern where it bolts to the trans, and the rear output housing would be aluminum too.
 
Anybody know what the tranny could be??? Im lookin around, found a tag that says CP-CA-00 . Any ideas? nothing comes up on Google. Trying to make a CL add for it. Good price to throw up??:dunno:

I would go on IFSJA, it's a website for full size jeeps, they do like these combos, I don't know what they'd pay for them but I would start with $300 and see what offers I get.

So a 3 speed t-150 bolted to a dana 20...Gears inside look nice, no chips, no rust, tcase shifts good and all locations work right. Whats a good asking price? I know nothing of these

Heres the CL add I made for it. We guessed $250ish and I already made it so ill give it a try. If you could throw that up there thatd be sweet, pick up only BTW.
