I found a dana 70 and a dana 60 with 4.11 gears for 150.00 each I know I need to look at them I was just wandering if they sound like a good buy. But I only want 1 rearend so if they do look good witch one sould I go with. I was thanking the dana 70. thank you for your time! I am sorry the first time I put in the subject it looked like I was trying seal a rearend for 150.00 I did not mean to miss lead you guys

Hey James.

Where did you find these? I'm in NC too - Raleigh. I found one guy in Greenville from CNC 4x4 club who had a 14 bolt, a Dana 60, and a Dana 70, but he told me $500 each.

What did they come out of? $150 sounds like a good price to me if they'll fit your vehicle easily.

The Dana 70 is stronger, but parts are not as plentiful as the Dana 60. I just read about this in a magazine, so I can look it up again and get more info if your interested...

Let me know if you come across any more of these. I'm looking for a Dana 60 or 14 bolt rear and a Dana 60 front for my '76 K5.
