I'd guess it is/was a plow truck. Even you know how bad it could be if you could look closer...

very true but still worth $200 /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

yea, true u raise a good point, floors COULD be totally [darn] lol..ive seen enough them around there that looked great on the outside but the floors was a whole different story..but man..i still think it was well worth 200 hehe..ahh well, guess its a good thing would have just been another damn truck sitting around here lol

I'm betting it was a typo (maybe 2K or something) He's had this for sale for months, I looked at it before I bought the one I have now (actually looked at them both the same day). Don't remember the exact figure he wanted but think it was around 3k at the time. (first indication to run was the fact he had it at a collision shop)

Truck was pretty hammered, interior was shot, couple of body panels had been replaced and weren't lined up so doors would pop and grind. Chassis was pretty crusty and he had great big lift blocks on the front axle to level it out. Topper also had a hole in it where he backed up into something. Seemed to run Ok but that's all I would give it.

If I remember correctly he at one point had it for almost 4k WITH a plow, then later had it knocked down in price and no plow. Was a younger guy, maybe late teens early 20's. The picture makes it look really nice, then you see it in person and it's a different story altogether...

oh REALLY that puts it in another perspective lol! but no, it was not a typo i called them up it was going for 200..he must have been really desprite to get it out of there!

Would have been more than worth it for $200!

(was a lot better than the K5 I looked at the the PO had
braced the floor with pressure treated 2x4's with drywall
screws run through the floor, he was even proud of the job he had down, only wanted $4000 for it....)

Not to hijack this thread, but if your looking for a cheap /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif, I just saw one in the Democrat and Chronicle before I left for school for $400, i believe it was an 86, 350, 4x4 I dont remember much else. It just seemed like a pretty good deal to me. Anyways, figured I would pass it along
