What year did the dash bezel change? My 1990 bezel is broken around the radio area so I bought one supposedly out of an '86. Well, no go, the radio area of my '90 is offset and the new bezel doesn't fit.

hmm. i thought they were the same. you sure it was form an 86?

You have a picture of that? If it's an actual additional plate not just a different bezel, I'd be interested in seeing it. 
The problem with the radios is that it took GM *forever* to install the digital display ones in the trucks, so through a large portion of the 80's, the trucks only accept (as a bolt in) the non-digital radios. Well, the digital radios with the knobs on the same side anyways.

i asked my chevy resto buddy who has done this for years. he said 88-91 style will fit . and if you need one let me know he has a few just pm me.
